Our business is all about helping local people find gainful employment, and we take pride in ensuring our Candidate's are looked after from day one.
We have opportunities across a variety of sectors, on both a permanent or temporary basis, part time and full time - all to find around your lifestyle and commitments. Our goal is to make your dream job a reality, and we do so through our fair and ethical approach to recruitment.
How do I sign up?
In order for us to help find your new dream role, you first need to make an appointment to register with us. You can do this by contacting us on 01623 628843, by dropping us an email to [email protected], or by sending us an enquiry using the contact form below. Once your enquiry has been received, one of our friendly Consultant's will be in touch to make an appointment for you to come in and register.
What do I need to bring?
In order for us to place you in work, whether that be on a temporary or a permanent basis, we have an obligation to first ensure that you have the right to work in the UK. This is a legal requirement imposed on us as an employer.
In order for you to demonstrate your right to work in the UK, we need to see some formal documentation from you. Usually this will be either a UK Passport, an Identity Card issued from an EEA Country or a full UK Birth Certificate along with proof of your National Insurance number. If you do not have any of these documents but you do have the right to work in the UK then fear not, as the UK Government has provided guidance on other documents that can be used. You can find full details of the documents that are accepted here.
A Consultant of Halo Recruit will need to see the original documentation and take photocopies for our records. All personal information will be handled in accordance to GDPR and data protection rules in the UK.
You'll also need to bring with you a copy of your CV, if you have one. If you don't have a CV, we'll be able to support you with putting one together however it would be useful if you could bring with you details of your previous working history.
We'll ask you to complete an application form when you arrive, which will ask for information such as your bank details, your emergency contact information, some brief medical questions and contact details for someone who can provide a reference. It would be helpful if you could bring this information with you to refer to whilst completing your application form.
When will I hear back from you?
Following your registration, you will be given the contact details of your own dedicated Consultant who will be in touch with you as soon as we have suitable work available for you. To show you're willingness however, we do suggest that if you haven't heard from your Consultant in a while that you give them a call to let them know that you are still available, and equally let them know if you find alternative work.
