As the situation around COVID-19 continues to develop, we want to assure all clients that there is no cause for concern in relation to Halo Recruit and its ongoing business activities.
We are staying abreast of regular updates with the latest guidance from the UK Government, NHS England and associated health advisory bodies in order to respond accordingly to events in a timely and effective manner.
We have also developed detailed and thorough business continuity plans, which are being constantly reviewed should further actions be required, enabling us to react promptly to the evolving risk landscape.
As of 17 March 2020, we have taken necessary steps to protect our employees and assure the continuation of our business operations, by enacting pre-emptive social distancing measures and all staff members have already been offered the opportunity to work from home where possible, with those opting to remain in branch ensuring that stringent procedures are followed to ensure their own safety, and that of others. Rest assured that this will not negatively impact our service levels to you or our workers in any way.
The rationale behind this is to ensure that we can continue to provide high levels of confidence that critical business services and functions are maintained in the most effective way possible, preventing any encounters with forthcoming risks.
In addition to social distancing we have also adopted the following procedures, which have been in effect since the beginning of the week:
- All of our branches are fully stocked with hand sanitizer, soap and of course toilet paper
- We are not currently offering face-to-face registrations, however all candidates wishing to apply for roles which we are recruiting for are encouraged to do so online and a face-to-face interview will be scheduled in advance
- Candidates are also being offered interviews by video conferencing using Skype/Microsoft Teams
- All of our workers have been contacted and asked to complete a Coronavirus Questionnaire to establish their current health status and any recent travel, and have been provided with up-to-date health guidance and asked to carry out good good hand-wash and sanitizing practices.
These actions are precautionary and a practical approach to minimise any possible negative impacts from the ongoing global situation.
We will, of course, continue to observe and operate in line with Government Guidance, and it may be that in the coming days and weeks our branches are required to close fully however you have our assurances that we will remain operational and our services to you will not be compromised.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly by email on [email protected].
